ANTRONIX Summer Session are about to begin. Presented by Music Konceptz, brought to you by The Common Market SouthEnd. If you have not been to on of our shows, now is the best time to join the fun. FREE Admission, this means, Ladies bring all of your friends! Fellas, there will be the coolest down to Earth ladies and great beer. Best of all the music is FREE! Get your party started quickly and started the right way! Don’t go to the over priced club to get a $5 Bud Light. It’s owned by Anheuser Busch, besides it’s not brewed with the love of brewing. As I’m getting off my “soap-box”, be sure to stop by and show your support to your local DJ’s. The Common Market is a very chill place to groove at. You might make new friends, run in to old friends, I mean ,..... hell, you might even meet that special someone! There is something there for everyone. Oh, yeah. How could I forget? They make great sandwiches too! So if your Jerry Springer fetish is a salami sandwich, then you can get that with a side of badass music and great company.

I called this one Wild West Metropolis, because Red Dead Redemption recently released, and yes I’m completely hooked. Who doesn’t like a good western movie? I also love Futuristic / Robotic / Sci-fi type movies, like an all time classic Metropolis. If you have not seen this, you should. It is a silent movie with classic 1920s Close Captioning. I think it was filmed or playing in theaters in 1927. So if you have that someone special who likes those old fashioned black & white silent romance movies, you might want to try this one. I think you’ll see that our DJ set is a lot like this title. Lo-Tek spins on the classic vinyl turntables and 7pavig spins on the futuristic digital turntables. Neither style of turntable is black & white. They both can boast a full-bleed of color.

Event: Antronix - The CM Sessions Vol. 1

Time: 6:00 P.M. - 12:00 PM

Last night we a great time mixing music for the Friday night Regulars. It was a beautiful Friday evening. Not a cloud in the sky, or at least not many to speak of. I opened the night on the patio. I had about an hour before Lo-Tek arrived. There were a lot of kids running around and having a great time. Some guy was making balloon swords and gave them to the children. I was hit several times by the kids as I unloaded my gear. I started the night with old funk, soul, and cool jams like that. I started to see some of the folks dancing. Even the kids loved it. Soon enough we had started rocking the place with some groovy breaks and beats. I unofficially called it Antronix. Why? Well, Lo-Tek is a master of Analog Turntables, you know, the real deal. This takes skill and mastery. As I last checked, vinyl still does not display the waveform. 7pavig works mostly with electronics, aka Digital Vinyl. Together a six hour set of beats, soul, funk, breax, tech, step, house, and dub. The music was loved by everyone. I only have some of the show recorded for some reason but I think you’ll get an idea of what our show was like.
